too darn clever

Tobias, 2.5, amazes me. While we cleaned out a storage closet Friday morning he spotted a toy long stowed away for its mechanical annoyances. To his delight, I gave in and brought the handheld motorcycle down. During the evening some conflict erupted. Elijah remembered someone giving it to him several years ago and he assumed he'd reclaim his toy. He even pointed out the"E" sticker on the bottom (something from the manufacturers - not us). Tobias said that no it was a "T". Greg did confirm that it was an "E" and then asked Tobias how to spell his name (which he does know how to do) and w/o missing a beat Tobias said "E-O-B-Y" and walked away w/the motorcycle.
