rockin' robin

We learned a robin can build its nest in one day. Monday must have been a quiet day around our front door because a robin decided to build a nest in the evergreen between our front door and our front window. It is at eye level from the front stoop and eye level from the front window. Between the traffic in and out the door, the mailman, the milkman, the front bed gardening, the cat in the window, and the general screaming of children makes me think this bird had a misleading agent. "beautiful evergreen with a perfect crook, nice warm brick wall behind, fresh grass seed just feet away in the yard, low rent,..."

We kept the blind down the past two days and have tried to use the side door, but I have not seen mother bird back. Elijah read us "Are you my Mother" to celebrate our little nest, little empty nest.
