shedding leaves

Unfortunately this photo illustrates how mama woke up this morning. Who knows - ate the wrong thing for dinner - too rushed - high intensity meeting the night before - boys running around naked for longer than usual - no one happy w/scrambled eggs for breakfast? Stop, look, and listen. After Greg and Elijah left for work and school, dishes were washed, laundry started, to-do list simplified for the day, the snarling teeth receeded. After Tobias and I pulled more sod from the neighbors backyard (where we're vegetable gardening w/her next year) and raked our leaves, the nose unflared. After making some community garden calls, arriving for our LeLeche League early, and picking up Elijah from school on time, the eyebrows relaxed. A much happier pumpkin carried on thorought the day. Lets keep finding the things that bring peace and contentment. Lets start fresh tomorrow. Lets let some things go. And lets do it before 7 am!
