vegetarian thanksgiving

clockwise from the fork-
--smooth butternut squash
--little cabbage hash
--multi colored beets
--stuffing (that did not reside in a turkey)
--muffin wrapper (Tobias actually ate that one, although I enjoyed more than one of my own!)

Didn't get a snapshot of dessert but licked from my plate was pumpkin and apple (each mixed w/moderate amounts of sugar, spices, and dough!).

Many thanks to the women - Mom for managing the turkey the rest of the family devoured, Cathy for tirelessly working and offering up her kitchen and home, Theresa for baking a wonderful pumpkin pie, Annette for the car load of baked goods that tied over many children (and adults), and Sandra for lending us your beautiful daughter and husband for the weekend. Can't forget the many husbands I saw creating an enormous table for 20 people one night and 22 the next, washing dishes, herding children, washing children, entertaining children, and roughing up children during the hockey and football games.

Its quiet here.
